Design and development of a complete web platform for the Fraternité Défense nonprofit organization, enabling it to showcase its activities, manage volunteer registrations, collect donations and sell fundraising products. The project also includes automated workflows for payments, email confirmations and document generation.
Context
Fraternité Défense needed a web platform to present the organization, facilitate volunteer engagement, collect donations and sell the Hibiscus du Courage, while automating several steps related to registrations, payments and user communications.
Achievements
- Designed the platform architecture and user journeys.
- Developed the user interface using Next.js, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS and shadcn/ui.
- Designed and managed the database using Supabase/PostgreSQL.
- Implemented Row Level Security (RLS) policies to secure data access.
- Developed registration and volunteer application forms.
- Built APIs to manage registration and confirmation workflows.
- Implemented token-based email confirmation.
- Integrated transactional emails using Resend.
- Developed automatic PDF certificate generation.
- Integrated online payments with FedaPay, including Mobile Money payments.
- Managed payment callbacks and order status updates.
- Developed the online store and shopping cart functionality.
- Integrated file storage using Supabase Storage.
- Tested user journeys and secured exchanges between the front-end, APIs and database.
- Deployed the application on Vercel.

- Delivered a complete web platform centralizing the organization’s presentation, volunteer registrations, donations, product sales and several automated user and payment workflows.
