GéoCalc
Training Project · Sep 2026 – Sep 2026
Development of a geometry calculation web application created as part of the Coder avec l’IA training program. The project enabled me to apply a structured AI-assisted software development approach using Claude Code, combining specifications, version control, task automation, quality controls and end-to-end testing.
Context
The GéoCalc project was developed as a practical environment for experimenting with and applying AI-assisted software development practices. The objective was to progressively enhance an existing application while structuring collaboration with the AI agent and securing changes made to the codebase.
Achievements
- Incrementally added new geometric shapes including triangles, diamonds and rectangles.
- Used Claude Code to analyze the project, plan changes and implement features.
- Created an /add-shape skill to standardize the addition of new geometric shapes.
- Implemented PostToolUse hooks to automatically run lint checks after code modifications.
- Created and executed end-to-end tests using Playwright.
- Installed and configured Chromium for automated testing.
- Used Git for branch management, merging and conflict resolution.
- Maintained human validation of AI-generated proposals and code changes.
Results
- Developed practical skills in AI-assisted software development through the structured use of Claude Code, custom skills and hooks, automated testing with Playwright, and Git-based development workflows, while maintaining human oversight over technical decisions and code changes.
